2024-25: Checked into 32 games for the Mavericks in her rookie campaign… Averaged 4.3 points per game on 45.5% field goal shooting… Reached 10 points in three contests in 2024-25… Scored a career-high 14 points on 4-of-6 shooting from the field and went 6-for-7 at the line in Minnesota State’s NSIC Tournament game against UMary… Dished out six assists in her fourth game against Northwestern (MN). 

High School: A 5'9" guard from St. Peter, Minn., Rhyan Holmgren is a four-year basketball letter winner at St. Peter High School...As a junior, Rhyan led the Saints to their first girls' basketball Big South Conference Championship while averaging 24.2 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 3.1 steals per game...She holds several season and career records for the Saints including points in a game (43), points in a season (684) and career points (2,314)... In her senior season, Led St. Peter to Minnesota Class AAA State Tournament appearance, finishing fifth... Was a MN Class AAA All-State selection and named a Minnesota Girls Basketball Coaches Association All-Star... The National Honor Society member, also participates in tennis and softball.

Personal: Rhyan is the daughter of Kyle and Staci Holmgren and plans to major in Exercise Science at Minnesota State.
