Biography

As a Maverick: Four-year letterwinner (2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20)...Played in 149 career games and totaled 14 goals and 23 assists for 37 points, along with 165 shots on goal, a +25 rating, 79 blocked shots and 877 face-off wins.

20-19-20:  Completed senior campaign with 5-8--13 in 37 games played...Ranked second on the team with 279 face-off wins...Did not have a penalty during course of season...Had three assists in 10-0 home league win over Alabama Huntsville Feb. 21...2017-18 WCHA Scholar-Athlete...2017-18 WCHA All-Academic.

2018-19:  Had 8-8--16 and played in 41 games...Had a goal and an assist in 6-1 win at the University of Alaska (Feb. 22)...Finished junior season with 53  shots on goal and a +13 rating...Had 248 face-off wins to rank second on team...2018-19 WCHA Scholar-Athlete...2018-19 WCHA All-Academic.

2017-18:  Scored first career goal in 5-1 win over Alabama Huntsville Dec. 15, 2017...Finished sophomore season with 31 shots on goal in 31 games played...Had 188 face-off wins...2017-18 WCHA Scholar-Athlete...2017-18 WCHA All-Academic.

2016-17:  Posted 3-2--5 and tied for eighth on team with +4 rating in maiden season...Made debut for Minnesota State in season-opening games with Michigan Tech, Oct. 7 and 8 and played in all 39 games...Registered first career point with an assist on Charlie Gerard’s goal vs. Bemidji State Nov. 11...Had two assists in 4-2 victory over Lake Superior State (Jan. 27), had an assist in each win over Northern Michigan (Feb. 17-18)...162 face-off wins.

THE FRENCH FILE:  Spent two campaigns with Omaha (USHL) where he had 16-32--48 and served as an alternate captain for the Lancers in 2015-16...Led Omaha in points and assists and was named team MVP and Forward of the Year in 2015-16...Registered eight points on a goal and seven assists and was +10 with Omaha in 2014-15.

Personal:  Born Dec. 18, 1995...Dad, Monte, played collegiately at St. Cloud State and Ferris State.
