As a Maverick: Four-year letterwinner (2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20)...Served as alternate captain as a senior...Finished college hockey career with 8-23--31 in 124 games played. Had two game-winning goals, one power play goal, +45 rating, 123 shots on goal, +45 rating and 205 blocked shots in four years with Minnesota State.
2019-20: 2019-20 WCHA Student-Athlete of the Year...Completed senior season with 3-10--13 in 41 games played...Ranked fourth on team with +19 rating...Led Mavericks with 50 blocked shots...Named WCHA Defenseman of the Week after scoring a goal in each game in two-game series with North Dakota Oct. 18-19 (4-4 overtime tie and a 2-1 win)...Had two assists in 5-0 win at Ferris State...Had two assists in 7-3 win home win over Northern Michigan... 2019-20 WCHA Scholar-Athlete...2019-20 WCHA All-Academic.

THE HOOKENSON FILE: Spent three seasons with Nanaimo (BCHL) where he served as an alternate captain for the Clippers and earned team's Coaches Award in 2015-16...Had six goals and 17 assists for 23 points in 58 games in 2015-16...Registered 5-23--28 in 58 games and was named team's Most Improved Player in 2014-15 in helping lead Nanaimo to an Interior Division regular-season title and play-off series victories over Alberni Valley and Powell River and a place in the BCHL championship series....Played with Swift Current (Sask.) Legionnaires midget AAA program where he served as team captain and had 7-23--30 in 44 games in 2012-13.
