Biography

2022-23: Appeared in 29 of Minnesota States 31 games… Shot a 46.7% from the field and a 83.3% performance from the line… Also had 80 rebounds with an average of 2.8 per game… Achieved a season-high of seven rebounds vs. Wayne St… Awarded the NSIC Myles Brand Award and was named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.

2021-22: Played in 23 games... Third on team in FG% shooting 46.2% going 18-39... Set career high in scoring with 8 points against Northern State (1.29.22)... Finished season with 45 points, 45 rebounds, 12 blocks, 8 steals and 3 assists. named to NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.

2020-21: Appeared in 5 games...Named the NSIC Elite 18 Award winner for women's basketball in the 2021 season (NSIC Elite 18 award is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average participating at the finals site for each of the NSIC's 18 Championships)...Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence...Finished season with 7 points, 11 rebounds and 5 blocks in 5 games.

2019-20: Appeared in 12 games for the Mavericks...Finished the season with 6 points and 8 rebounds.

High School: As a senior, Drees averaged 16 points, 9.8 rebounds and 4.3 blocks while being named IGCA (Iowa Girls Coaches Association) 1st Team All-State (Class 1A)...Finished her high school career with over 1,000 points 900 rebounds and 500 blocks and was an Iowa Academic All-State Selection...Claimed three all-conference honors by her junior season...During her junior season, Drees passed the 1,000 point mark and averaged 20.2 points, 13.6 rebounds and 7.7 blocks per game for Westwood Community High School...An All-State performer, she also led her team to two regular season championships and one runner-up finish in the Western Valley Conference...Also competed in volleyball and track and field and is a member of the Westwood Student Council and National Honor Society. 

Personal: Daughter of Matt and Jennifer Drees...Majoring in pre-medicine.
