Biography

As a Maverick: Four-time letterwinner (2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18)...Served as team captain as a senior (2017-18), served as alternate captain as a junior (2016-17)...Finished career with 45 goals and 46 assists for 91 points in 159 games played.  Tied for 19th on school's career scoring list (NCAA DI-era)...159 career games played ranks fourth all-time (regardless of era).

2017-18:  Named to WCHA All-Academic Team...11-10--21 in 40 games as a senior...Scored twice and had game-winning goal in 5-1 win at University of Alaska (Jan. 13)...Scored twice and had game-winning goal in 4-2 home win over Ferris State (Feb. 17), scored again the next night (Feb. 18) in 4-2 win over Bulldogs and was named WCHA Offensive Player of the Week...Led Minnesota State with 118 shots on goal.

2016-17:  2016-17 All-WCHA Third Team selection...Led Minnesota State with 132 shots on goal, tied for the team lead in goals (14) and ranked fourth in points with 14-14--28...Had three assists in 7-3 win at Alaska Dec. 2, 2016...Scored twice in in 4-2 win over Ferris State, Oct. 28, 2016...Scored twice in 4-2 home win over Minnesota Nov. 18...Scored twice in 3-0 win at Alabama Huntsville, Jan. 6, 2017.

2015-16:  Posted 5-8--13 numbers while playing in all 41 games as a sophomore...Had a goal and two assists in 5-2 WCHA play-off victory over Lake Superior State (March 11)...Collected game-winning goal in 3-0 victory over Lakers in play-off series-clinching win (March 13)...Had a goal vs. Bowling Green and an assist vs. Ferris State at WCHA Final Five and was named All-Tournament.

2014-15:  Collected 15-14--29 on season to rank second on team in goals and tied for fourth in points as well as tied for second in game-winning goals on team with five...Scored twice and assisted on another in Minnesota State's 4-0 win over Ferris State in first round of WCHA Final Five...Scored last three goals in Final Five Championship game vs Michigan Tech in 5-2 win to collect first career hat trick... Named WCHA Final Five Tournament MVP...Named to WCHA Final Five All-Tournament Team...Named WCHA Rookie of the Week (Feb. 6-7) after contributing three assists in series sweep over Alaska Anchorage.

The McClure File: Completed two-year junior career with Penticton of British Columbia Hockey League with 85 goals and 74 assists for 159 points in 137 games...2013-14 BCHL First Team All-Star selection...Served as team captain and led Vees in scoring in 2013-14 in both regular season (41-39--80) and play-offs (10-11--21 in 11 GP)...Ranked fourth in the BCHL in scoring in 2013-14 with 80 points and finished second in goals scored with 41...2012-13 BCHL All-Rookie Team pick.
