High School: A 5'11'' forward from Waconia, Minn., is a three-year letter winner and two-time All-Conference selection for Waconia High School...As a junior, Ava averaged 14 points and 8 rebounds to help lead her team to an 18-2 record and a trip to the Section finals...She was also a key contributor as a sophomore during the Wildcats' run to the state semi-finals...In addition to basketball, Ava is a four-year volleyball letter winner...Scored her 1,000 point during her senior year...Earned All-Conference honors as a senior.
Personal: Ava is the daughter of Minnesota State alums Russell and Janelle Stier and plans to study psychology and criminology at Minnesota State.
