High School: Swanson helped her team to a state championship her freshman year, a second-place showing in her junior season and third her sophomore season...She was named a Cook Inlet Conference Second Team Defender her sophomore and junior seasons...The three-year starter at defense helped her team to a 17-1-1 record her junior and sophomore years, with a 12-0-0 record her freshman season...The South High Lady Wolverines own three conference and three regional championships during her time...She was awarded the good sport award in the state tournament her freshman year.
