2013-14 (Junior): Started all 35 games for the Mavericks…Averaged 15.4 points and 2.8 rebounds per game…Established MSU single-season record and led the nation is assists with 282…Notched nine double-doubles…Set new career-highs against Minot State as he tallied 31 points and 14 assists…Passed out at least 10 assists in 12 games…Scored 10 points or more in 31 games and surpassed the 20-point plateau on nine occasions…Earned Daktronics All-American Second Team honors, becoming the ninth Maverick in program history to garner All-American accolades…Named the NSIC Tournament MVP…Shot 46.9% from the field, including a 41% showing from behind the arc…Named the NSIC Player of the Year…Named to DII Bulletin All-American Third Team…Named the Daktronics Central Region Player of the Year.

2012-13 (Sophomore): Started all 33 games for Minnesota State…Led the NSIC in assists and steals with 184 and 75, respectively…His 75 steals set a new MSU record for steals in a season...Named the NSIC Player of the Week (1/14) after averaging 21 points in three MSU wins…Shot 123-of-306 (.402) from the field and 84-of-102 (.824) from the charity stripe…Tallied 389 points, for an average of 11.8 points per game…Named to the All-NSIC Second Team…Passed out nine assists in four games, and tallied at least 10 points in 18 games…Scored a career-high 29 points against Northern State (1/11), including a 12-of-12 performance from the free throw line…Finished third in the nation in assist/turnover ratio (2.83)…Finished 19th in the nation in assists per game (5.6) and 23rd in steals per game (2.27).

Pre-MSU: Saw action in 25 games as a freshman at South Dakota State and started two games for the Jackrabbits who finished 27-8 last season, winning the Summit League Conference tournament and advancing to the NCAA Division I tournament....Averaged 2.2 points per game and 7.7 minutes per contest...In his first career start against IUPUI, Monaghan scored six points...Also scored ten points in the Jackrabbit win over Southwest Minnesota State.

High School:  Was a three-year letterwinner...Named the 2010 Mid-Suburban League Player of the Year after averaging 17 points, 4.5 assists and three steals...As a senior he earned the same award after averaging 23 points, four rebounds, five assists and 4.5 steals per game...Named all-state and all-conference as a junior and a senior.
