Biography

The Hill File:  Has played in 92 games as a Maverick...Is 47 assists shy of cracking the school’s top-10 list.

2009-10:  Finished his junior year ranked third in the NSIC in free throw percentage (.885) and sixth in three-point field goal percentage (.458)...Enters this season ranked fifth on the school’s career free throw percentage at .885...Hill played in all 30 games last season off the bench and was fourth on the team in scoring, averaging 11.1 points per game to go with 1.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists...He scored a season-high 22 points in MSU’s win over U-Mary (12/12) and started the season by reaching double-digits in the points column in MSU’s first six games and has scored 10 or more points in 19 games...For the season, Hill shot  .453 from the floor, .458 from downtown and .885 from the free-throw line...Hill scored 22 points in MSU’s win over St. Cloud State (1/16), finishing the night 6-of-6 from the floor, 4-of-4 from downtown and 6-of-6 from the line.

2008-09:
Hill played in 33 games starting four...Averaged 8.6 points, 3.0 assists, 1.4 rebounds and 18.9 minutes per game...Passed out a career-high 11 assists in MSU’s win over MacMurray (12/18)...Dished out five or more assists in six games...Scored double-digits in 13 games including a 22 point game at Augustana (2/25) and against Minnesota Duluth (3/4)....Hauled in a career-high six rebounds against St. Cloud State (3/8/09).

2007-08:
Saw action in all 29 games, earning two starts…Averaged 5.5 points, 2.4 assists and 0.9 rebounds, while playing an average of 15.2 minutes per game…Had 69 assists on the season...Passed out a season-high eight assists in MSU’s win over Bethany Lutheran (12/5) and then matched the tally with eight assists against Upper Iowa (12/15) and at Minnesota Duluth (1/10)...Scored a season-high 14 points on 4-of-4 shooting, including 2-of-2 from long range against BLC...Added 14 points in MSU’s win at St. Cloud State (2/9).

High School:
Four-year letterwinner and starter for Breck High School...Helped guide the Mustangs to a second place finish four times in the Tri-Metro Conference...Named team MVP after his sophomore, junior and senior campaigns...Was a four-time All Tri-Metro Conference selection...Owns Breck’s record for career assists (825), and steals (219), finished second in school history in career points (1,630)...Averaged 14.1 points, 6.5 assists, 2.3 steals and 3.3 rebounds a game as a senior...Named Second-Team All-State by the Minnesota Basketball News...Played in a pair of all-star games.
