2023-24:
Played and started in all 37 games for the Mavericks…Averaged a team-leading 18.7 points and 4.3 assists per game while shooting 43.5% from the field and 35.0% from three points range…Also led the team in three pointers with 83 and steals with 61…Scored at least 20 points in 16 games, including a season-high 33 points vs. Sioux Falls in the second round of the NSIC Tournament…Named the NSIC Player of the Week once…Named to the All-NSIC First Team and was named the NSIC Player of the Year…Named the NSIC Tournament MVP as he averaged 23.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game…His 693 points scored during the season were the third-most in a season in team history…Was named to the D2CCA All-Central Region First Team and was named the D2CAA Central Region Player of the Year…Was named to the NCAA Central Region All-Tournament Team as he tallied 16.3 points and 4.0 rebounds per game, including a 30-point showing vs. MSU Moorhead in the second round…Named to the NABC All-Central District Team…Became the 10th Maverick in team history to garner All-American honors as he was named to the D2CCA All-American First Team…Was named the NCAA Elite Eight Most Outstanding Player as he averaged 17.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.0 assists a game…Finished his career at Minnesota State ranked third all-time in scoring (1,729), seventh in field goals made (617), second in three pointers made (278), second in three pointers attempted (741), fifth in assists (415) and sixth in steals (152).

2021-22: Played in 25 games for the Mavericks, including 19 starts…Finished second on the team in three pointers made with 40…Averaged 9.7 points and 2.0 rebounds per game…Led the team in assists with 57…Shot 39.5% from the field, including a 35.1% showing from three point range…Scored at least 10 points in 12 games, including a career-high 23 points against MSU Moorhead…Passed out at least four assists in seven games…Finished third on the team in steals with 23.

2020-21: Played and started in all 17 games for the Mavericks…Averaged 11.6 points and 2.6 rebounds per game…Led the Mavericks in three pointers made with 41 as he shot 45.1% from behind the arc…Also shot 47.7% from the field and finished second on the team in steals with 13…Tallied 33 assists which ranked third on the team…Scored at least 11 points in 10 games, including a career-high 20 points against both Augustana and Concordia-St. Paul…Shot 81.3% from the free throw line.

2019-20 (Freshman): Played in 28 games…Recorded 111 points and 50 rebounds…Finished second on the team in assists with 63…Scored 10 points or more in four games…Recorded a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds against Concordia-St. Paul, while passing out seven assists…Also passed out seven assists against St. Cloud State…Scored 17 points against Crown College also and tallied a season-high four steals against Regis.

High School: A guard from Waseca, Minn., Malik Willingham became Waseca High School's all-time leading scorer as he help his squad reach the state tournament during his senior season...As a senior, Willingham averaged more than 19 points, five rebounds and six assists a game as he helped his team reach the state championship game...Against Austin in the state semifinals, Willingham tallied eight points, eight rebounds and four steals...In the state championship game against DeLaSalle, he posted a team-leading 21 points and eight assists.
