2015-16 (Junior): Played in all 32 games for the Mavericks, including 24 starts…Shot 55.8% from the field and led the Mavericks in rebounds with 245 (7.7 rpg)…Named to the All-NSIC Second Team…Led Minnesota State with seven double-doubles…Posted a season-high 29 points against Northern State and surpassed the 20-point plateau nine times…Recorded more than 20 points in five of MSU’s final six games of the season…Named the NSIC South Division Player of the Week after averaging 22.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game against Sioux Falls and Southwest Minnesota State…Shot 60.7% from the field in two NCAA Tournament games, while averaging 22.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game…Led the team in blocks with 25.
DMACC: A native of Maywood, Ill., Fuqua recently finished his second season as a member of the Des Moines Area Community College Bears...As a freshman, he started in 31 games and averaged 9.8 points and 6.3 rebounds per game, while shooting 65.3% from the field. He also tallied five double-doubles...As a sophomore, Fuqua shot 56.5% from the field as he averaged 13.6 points and 9.2 rebounds per game...He scored at least 10 points in 27 games, including seven instances when he eclipsed the 20-point plateau...He registered 15 double-doubles, one against Highland Community College where he notched 20 points and 22 rebounds...He would go on to receive and all-region honorable mention honors.
