High School: A guard from Oak Park, Ill., Nixon was a regular starter for the Fenwick High School boys basketball team since his freshman season...Nixon, who was a team captain for two seasons, helped guide Fenwick High School to a Catholic League championship as a junior, en route to an appearance in Class 4A sectional championship appearance...During his junior season, Nixon ranked first on the team in rebounds averaging 6.1 rebounds a game...He also ranked second on the team in assists, and third on the team in both scoring and steals...Nixon averaged four trips to the free throw line a game last season and started in all but one of Fenwick's games.
