Biography

The Weldon File:  Went to the same high school as Maverick center Travis Nelson.

2008-09: Redshirted.

High School: Weldon will enroll at Minnesota State this fall after a stellar prep career at Linn-Mar High School...Guided Linn-Mar to the 2007 Iowa Class 4A state championship...As a senior, he helped guide the Lions to an 18-4 record while averaging 10.1 points per game...Was a third-team all-state selection as a senior and was named second-team all-conference.  

Personal: Son of Jeanne Kuempel and Michael Weldon...Born Dec. 3, 1989...Majoring in Secondary Education.
