2012: Played in four games and had three tackles.  

2011: Redshirted.

High School: Was a two-year starter and letterwinner for the Hawks...As a junior he helped lead Ankeny to a 10-2 record and saw the Hawks finish 9-4 as a senior...Was a First-Team All-CIML pick as a senior and was also named to the Elite All-CIML on the defensive line...Was an all-state pick as a senior and was also an all-state performer by the Iowa News Network...Recorded 78 tackles as a senior and had ten tackles for a loss and four sacks.

Personal: Son of Gregg and Penny Thompson...Born July 9, 1992...Proposed major in exercise science.
