High School: A defensive lineman at DeForest High School, Peters played three seasons of football, while starting during his junior and senior season…Earned an all-conference honorable mention his junior season…Received all-conference and all-area honors his senior season, as he was named the Badger North Defensive Lineman of the Year…Received an all-state honorable mention and held the school weight lifting records in the bench press and dead lift…Competed on the track and field team for four seasons, where he participated in the shot put and the discus…Named to the Honor Roll.
