High School: A receiver from Waconia, Minn., Koppi competed in both football and baseball at Waconia High School...Lettered and started as a junior and a senior with the football team...As a junior, he caught 29 passes for 607 yards and eight touchdowns...As a senior, he caught 27 passes for 430 yards and four touchdowns as his team went on to win a conference championship...Played three seasons as a member of the baseball team, including an undefeated sophomore season that ended with a state championship.
