High School: A defensive back out of Brooklyn Park, Minn., Brooks competed in both football and basketball at Park Center High School…Earned three letters in football and started during his sophomore, junior and senior seasons…Earned a pair of Suburban All-Conference honors as a junior and a senior…Caught 20 passes for 315 yards and three touchdowns as a junior and followed up with 60 catches for 1,025 yards and 15 touchdowns as a senior… Helped his squad to an 8-3 record as a senior, which was the school’s best record in 30 years…Also received all-metro, allcity and all-district accolades as a senior… Played three seasons as a guard for basketball team…Named to the Honor Roll.
