High School: A three sport athlete out of BOLD High School, Nissen earned three letters in football, four in wrestling and one in baseball…Helped his team to a pair of conference championships his sophomore and junior seasons…Won a section 5AA championship his junior season and helped his team to the class 5AA state semifinals…Played on both sides of the ball during his three seasons…Recorded 42 tackles as a member of the defensive line his junior season and followed with 49 tackles, two sacks, an interception and a blocked punt his senior season…As a tight end, he recorded 345 receiving yards and nine touchdowns his junior season and followed with 428 receiving yards and nine touchdown catches his senior season…Garnered all-conference, all-section and all-area honors for his efforts during his senior season…Member of the Honor Roll.
