Pre-MSU: Attended Grand Rapids Community College before transferring to Minnesota State. 

High School:  Was a four-year starter and letterwinner in football at Flint Central...As a senior he caught 46 passes for 700 yards on offense and had eight interceptions and 63 tackles on defense...Was an All-City and All-Valley pick and was an honorable mention all-state selection. 

Personal: Son of Larry Odman and Darron Garrett...Born July 2, 1988...Intends to major in computer engineering.
