High School: A linebacker from Dresser, Wis., Johnson competed in football, wrestling and track and field at Osceola High School…Was a three-year starter and letterwinner as a member of the football team, and started both ways as a junior and senior…Helped his team to a pair of conference championships during his junior and senior seasons, including a D4 state championship in 2015…Received three all-conference honors as an inside linebacker and two as a running back…Received two all-region honors as an inside linebacker, to go with an All-State honorable mention as a junior…Garnered All-State First Team honors from the AP and the WFCA…Tallied 102 tackles during his junior season, including 14 tackles for a loss, four sacks and three fumble recoveries…Posted 92 tackles, 21 tackles for a loss and 12 sacks during his senior season…Set a new school record in career tackles…Rushed for 903 yards and 16 touchdowns as a senior…Received an Academic All-State award for his efforts in the classroom.
