2019: Played and started in all 15 games for the Mavericks at wide receiver…Led the MSU receiving corps with 81 catches for 1,676 yards and 18 touchdowns all of which set MSU single-season records…Scored 114 points which are the sixth-most in a season in team history…Named to the All-NSIC First Team and the NSIC All-Academic Team…Recorded more than 100 receiving yards in nine games, including a season-best 220 yards and three touchdown catches against Minnesota Duluth…Caught at least two touchdown passes in six games…Received CoSIDA Academic All-American First Team honors…Also claimed Don Hansen and AP All-American First Team honors…Also garnered AFCA, D2CCA and D2Football.com All-American Second Team honors…Finished his career at Minnesota State as its all-time leader in catches (227), receiving yards (4,297) and touchdown catches (54)…Recorded 330 career points, the third-most in MSU history…Ranks second all-time at Minnesota State in touchdowns scored with 55...Named to D2Football.com All-Decade Second Team.

High School: A three-year letter winner out of New London-Spice High School, Zylstra started two seasons as a wide receiver and the team’s kick and punt returner…Helped team to a pair of second-place finishes in conference during his sophomore and junior seasons, to go along with a first-place finish during his senior season… Helped team to three section championships…Earned two all-conference, two all-area honors during his career, to go along with a second team all-state honor…Set a school record for 94 career catches…Finished career with 1,531 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns…Returned two kick and punt returns as a senior, to go along with 12 touchdown carries and four touchdown catches…Claimed all-state honors as a member of the track and field team in the long jump and high jump events.
