Biography

2015: Played in 10 games, including six starts in MSU’s final six games…Tallied 36 tackles…Returned an interception 45 yards for a touchdown against Emporia State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament…Received All-NSIC Second Team Defense accolades…Finished his career with 82 tackles, six interceptions and 26 passed defended.

2014: Played in all 15 games, including 12 starts in MSU’s final 12 games…Finished the season with 46 total tackles, including two for a loss…Intercepted five passes and defended a team-leading 16 passes…Forced two fumbles and recorded one…Tallied a season-high seven tackles against Bemidji State…Tallied five tackles against CSU Pueblo in the NCAA Championship.

North Dakota: Played in a total of 20 games through two seasons at North Dakota...Posted 39 tackles and defended three passes...

High School: Three-year letterwinner and two-year starter at defensive back for head coach Mike Grant…Earned All-Lake Conference honors as a senior after earning honorable mention honors as a junior…Averaged 14 yards per punt return as a senior…Helped Eden Prairie win the 2010 Minnesota State Class 5A state championship by capturing the individual title in the long jump and also earning all-state honors in the triple jump.   


Personal: Rumeal is the son of Sam and Emelda Harris...Father was an All-American in track and field at South Dakota State.
