Biography

2022: Played in all of Minnesota States 13 games including 12 starts… Had 40 receptions for 699 yards and eight touchdowns… Also had 18 attempted kick returns for 329 yards… Achieved a longest reception of 85 yards and a season-high of 170 receiving yards… Was named to the All-NSIC First Team.

2021: Played in all 11 games, including five starts…Caught 31 passes for 475 yards and seven touchdowns…Caught two touchdown passes against Augustana and Sioux Falls…Posted a season0high 90 receiving yards against Upper Iowa…Rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns…Recorded 310 kick return yards and 184 punt return yards…Returned a punt 90 yards for a touchdown against Minot State.

2020: No season due to COVID-19.

2019: Played in 12 games for the Mavericks…Caught eight passes for 101 yards…Caught three passes for 34 yards against West Florida in the NCAA Championship game…Notched 173 kick return yards.

2018: Saw no action.

2017: Played in 13 games…Rushed for 150 yards and a touchdown…Caught 12 passes for 172 yards and four touchdowns…Tallied 55 rushing yards and a touchdown against Minnesota Crookston…Led the Mavericks with 344 kick return yards…Averaged 24 yards per return.

2016: Redshirted.

High School: A three-sport athlete from Milwaukee, Wis., Williams has competed in football, baseball and track and field at Brown Deer High School…Was a four-year starter for the football team at wide receiver…Received all-suburban and all-conference honors during his junior season for football and was a state qualifier for the 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400 relay events for the track and field team…Earned all-conference honors as a running back his senior season, as he helped his team to a first place finish in the Woodland East Conference… Also played two seasons of baseball as a left fielder.
