2014:
Started in all 15 games for the Mavericks as a defensive back…Garnered All-NSIC South Division First Team Defense honors…Finished third on the team in tackles with 76, including 42 solo tackles…Led the Mavericks with six interceptions and 99 return yards…Defended eight passes, recovered a fumble and forced a fumble…Named the NSIC South Division Defensive Player of the Week…Recorded a season-high nine tackles against both Augustana and Sioux Falls…Posted an interception in six games last season, including one against Minot State he returned 43 yards for a touchdown…Earned Don Hansen All-American Second Team Defense honors.  

2013: Played in all 12 games for Mavericks, including 11 starts…Finished season with 46 tackles, including 30 unassisted tackles…Tied for team lead for interceptions with five, including an interception against the University of Mary he returned 72 yards for a touchdown…Named NSIC Defensive Player of the Week after posting 10 tackles, one interception, one fumble recovery and one forced fumble against Minnesota Duluth. Also had a sack for a loss of eight yards and defended three passes…Named NSIC South Division All-Conference First Team Defense…Posted a total of 116 return yards after his five inceptions, which led team…Garnered Don Hansen All-Super Region Three First Team Defense honors.

2012: Played in 12 games...Finished season with 48 tackles which was eighth-highest tally on squad...Recorded season-high nine tackles in MSU's loss to Valdosta State (12/8) in national semifinals...Also tallied two blocked kicks, two interceptions, two pass break-ups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery...Honorable Mention All-NSIC pick.

2011: Started every game and in MSU's loss to Minnesota Duluth (11/12) finished with 17 tackles, nine of which were solo...Registered nine tackles in MSU's loss at St. Cloud State (10/8) and had four pass break-ups on season, two of which came against Wayne State (10/22)...Sixth on team in tackles with 59, including 1.5 for loss and fumble recovery.

Minnesota State Track & Field Career
2013-14 Indoor: Became a three-time All-American in the heptathlon at NCAA Division II Indoor Championships when he finished second in breaking his own school record with 5,449 points...Member of the 4x400-meter relay team that finished eighth (also earned All-American honors) at NCAA Division II Indoor Championships crossing the finish line with a time of 3:16.56...NSIC champion in heptathlon for second time tallying 5,030 points earning NSIC Athlete of the Week for his efforts, his fourth as a Maverick.

2013 Outdoor: Part of 4x100-meter relay team that took second at Mt. Sac Relays with a time of 40.52... Won championship at Vance Bulter Invite in the long jump with a leap of 22' 7 3/4".

2012-2013 Indoor: Earned All-American honors in heptathlon with 5,321 points in finishing in fifth-place at national meet...NSIC indoor champion in heptahtlon with 5,276 points...Named NSIC Field Athlete of the Week twice.

2012 Outdoor: Finished in fifth place in decathlon with a career-best 5,859 points at Wildcat Classic Multi...U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Region in high jump.

2011-12 Indoor: Finished sixth at NCAA Championships in heptathlon garnering All-American honors with 5,054 points...Named NSIC Athlete of the Week once.

Pre-MSU: Attended Nebraska-Omaha in 2009 where he redshirted.

High School:  First-team all-state, all-metro, all-area, all-conference and all-district selection …Named the Kansas City Suburban Middle Six Defensive Player of the Year…Recorded 171 tackles including eight for a loss and 14 pass break-ups..Three interceptions, five forced fumbles, four blocked punts and one blocked punt return for a touchdown…Helped Indians win a conference and district championship while finishing as state runner-up.
