High School: A three-sport athlete out of Lancaster, Wis., Tranel earned a total of 11 letters in football, basketball and baseball…A a freshman and a sophomore, he earned all-conference honors as a tight end…as he helped his team to a pair of state runner up finishes as an underclassman…Earned conference MVP honors as a junior and was named the offensive MVP…Helped his team to a third-consecutive second place finish at state…Tallied 1,443 rushing yards and 22 rushing touchdowns as a senior, to go along with 1,415 passing yards and 14 touchdown passes…Garnered all-conference honors during his senior season, to go along with conference MVP accolades, as he led his team to a state championship…Played four seasons of basketball as a forward and four seasons of baseball as an outfielder.
