2009: Was an Academic All-NSIC pick and was named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District V First-Team...Played in 10 games and acquired 13 tackles...Had a season-high three tackles in MSU’s win over U-Mary (9/12)...Picked up a sack in MSU’s win at Upper Iowa (10/31)...Hauled in his first career interception in MSU’s win at Winona State (9/26) and had a fumble recovery in MSU’s win at Concordia (10/10)...Had seven solo tackles a year ago.

2008: Played in 12 games last season, earning two starts…Finished with 26 tackles…Had a career-high eight tackles in MSU’s win over Upper Iowa (10/31)….Had 8.5 tackles for a loss and 5.5 sacks...Two-and-a-half of his tackles for loss came against UIU…Collected two fumbles...Also a member of the MSU track and field team…Won the 2009 NSIC Outdoor Championship in the discuss with a toss of 48.73 meters.

2007: Played in all 11 games, registering nine tackles…Had a season-high three tackles at South Dakota (10/27).

2006: Redshirted. 

High School: Three-year letterwinner...Named team captain for senior season...In 2005 earned first team all-conference and all-region honors after recording 72 total tackles (44 solo) along with 5.0 sacks, five fumble recoveries and scoring one touchdown...All-state honorable mention pick as a senior along with being tabbed as a NewsChannel 7 All-Star...Also a member of the WEHS basketball and track & field programs...In basketball, named team Most Improved Player in 2003-04...Holds school record in the discus (168’2”)...Took first in the conference and regional in 2005 before claiming a runner-up effort in the sectional and seventh at the state meet...Active in student government; served as Class President from freshman through senior years...Member of the National Honor Society in junior and senior years...Earned three academic letters in prep career and collected an academic medal in every semester of high school.
