2025: Appeared in seven games for the Mavericks, starting in four of them…He threw 68 completions on 113 attempts for a 60.2% completion rate on the season, recording no interceptions…In his 4 starts, he averaged 177.5 yards per game, on 62.2% accuracy with six total touchdowns… He recorded four passin touchdowns along with four rushing touchdowns on the year…Threw for a total of 890 passing yards…Tallied 290 rushing yards on the season, with a season-high of 102 rush yards against Minot State…1x NSIC Player of the Week…All-NSIC First Team. 

2024: Saw no action.

High School: An all-conference honoree from St. Paul, Minn., Maximus Sims claimed all-conference honors as a junior and senior as a quarterback with the Saint Thomas Academy football team...He also received an all-conference honorable mention as a sophomore and was named the all-metro player of the week once...Helped his team to a second place finish at the state tournament once.
