2009: A Second-Team All-NSIC South selection and Academic All-NSIC pick in 2009...Has played in every game as a Maverick and has started the last 27 games and has 29 starts in his career – including all 12 last year...Recorded a season-high 11 tackles twice, once against Wayne State (9/19) and against Hillsdale (11/14)...Also had 10 stops in MSU’s win over Bemidji State...Racked up 7.5 tackles for a loss and two sacks...Also had an interception, five pass break-ups, and a forced fumble.

2008: Started and played in all 12 games last year…Was named to the Honorable Mention All-NSIC South Division squad...Led MSU with 98 tackles…His 98 tackles marked the highest single-season tally by a Maverick since Jimmie Gunn recorded 113 stops in 2005…Recorded 10 or more tackles in three straight games including a season-high 15 stops in MSU’s win over Winona State (9/27)…Had 10 or more tackles in four games…Had 10 solo tackles and 13 stops total in MSU’s overtime loss to Augustana (10/4)…Recorded 8.5 tackles for a loss and three sacks on the season…Had one blocked kick, one pass break-up, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. 

2007: Finished fourth on the team in tackles with 58…Had six tackles for a loss and 0.5 sacks…Broke up one pass and recovered one fumble…Played in all 11 games and finished with six tackles...Registered five or more tackles in seven games including a season-high nine tackles against North Dakota (9/29)…Had two tackles for a loss against Central Washington (11/3).

2006: Redshirted.  High School: Started and lettered in football for three years at North St. Paul...Also wrestled and ran track for the Polars…Was all-conference as a senior and all-conference honorable mention as a junior.
