High School: Named First-Team All-Classic 8 Conference…Helped pace Waukesha West to the State playoffs with a defense that allowed only 164 points...Was a two-time All-Classic Eight defensive back...Was also named first-team All-Waukesha County...Played in the Wisconsin Shrine Bowl....As a senior finished with 76 tackles, 62 of which were solo and forced five fumbles while breaking up three passes...Was a three-year starter and was the Special Teams Player of the Year as a senior...Was a two-time state qualifier in track and placed fifth in the 4x400-meter relay as a junior...He was also an all-state and all-conference sprinter and established school records in the 4x400 and 4x200-meter relays...Also played hockey where he was a two-year starting defenseman and won the Athletic Director’s award.
