2012: Earned his 25th consecutive – and final – start in MSU's loss to Valdosta State (12/8)...Finished the season second on the team in tackles with 66, including 5.5 for a loss...Also had three pass break-ups, two interceptions and a forced fumble...Ended the season  as one of seven Mavericks with 100 career tackles...Recorded a season-high eight tackles in MSU's win against  Southwest Minnesota State...Finishes his career with 149 tackles, includigng12 for a loss to go with six pass break-ups, four interceptions, a sack and a forced fumble...Was a First-Team All-NSIC South Division and Daktronics Super Region #3 Second Team honoree.

2011:  Junior linebacker Marcus Hall-Oliver started all 12 games and was MSU's leading tackler with 83 stops...Was a First Team All-NSIC South Division pick...Had six or more tackles in MSU's first ten games including a season-high nine stops – six of which were solo – in the Mavericks' Homecoming win over Winona State (10/1)...Has 6.5 tackles for a loss and a sack this season to go with a pair of interceptions and three pass break-ups.

Pre-MSU: Last year, he played in 11 games and recorded 36 tackles for Nebraska-Omaha…Broke up three passes and defended three others…Blocked a pair of kicks and forced a fumble…As a freshman at Nebraska-Omaha he saw action in nine games, making three starts...had four solo tackles and assisted on six tackles...returned a blocked punt for his first career touchdown against Emporia State on Oct. 3...named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

High School:  An all-state honorable mention as a senior at Central High School for coach Jay Ball...was also named second team All-Metro, first-team all-district and Central’s fall athlete of the year his senior season...Also lettered in track.
