High School: Was a four-year letterwinner for Linn-Mar High School...Also wrestled for the Lions...Was an all-state linebacker and was named second-team all-state...Recorded 88 tackles as a senior and 85 as a junior...Was 32-12 at 215 points as a senior, earning eighth-place at the Iowa State championships

Personal: Son of Doug and Peggy Goodson...Born Oct. 26, 1989...Intends to major in business at Minnesota State.
