High School: A safety out of Stevens Point, Wis., Roth competed in both football and wrestling at Stevens Point Area Senior High…Was a two-year letterwinner and starter for the football team…Received an all-conference honorable mention as a junior after posting 54 tackles, including nine for a loss and five defended passes… Claimed all-conference first team and all-region honors after recording 103 tackles his senior season…He also recorded three interceptions and defended four passes during his senior campaign as he helped his squad to a conference championship…Was named to the Academic All-State Team…Helped his team advance to the semifinals of the state tournament in 2016…Was named a finalist for the state’s defensive back of the year award in 2016.
