2022: Played in all of Minnesota States 13 games… Had 18 total tackles, 12 solo and six assists… Saw a season-high of six tackles vs. Upper Iowa… Was named to the All-NSIC Team of Excellence.

2021: Played in 10 games for the Mavericks…Recorded 12 tackles, including three against Concordia-St. Paul…Recorded an interception against Upper Iowa.

2020: No season due to COVID-19.

High School: A three-sport athlete from Marshfield, Wis., Goettl competed in football, baseball and track and field at Marshfield High School...Helped his team to three consecutive conference championships, including a trip to the fourth round of the state playoffs during his junior season...Garnered all-conference second team honors as a wide receiver after posting 248 receiving yards and two touchdowns...Also recorded 19 tackles, a fumble recovery and an interception as a cornerback during his junior season...Claimed all-conference honors as a quarterback during his senior season after posting 1,120 passing yards, 600 rushing yards, seven touchdowns carries and 12 touchdown passes...Named to the academic honor roll every year of high school.
