Biography

2021: Played and started in 10 games for the Mavericks on the offensive line…Helped the team rush for 2,264 yards and 28 touchdowns…Named to the All-NSIC Second Team…Garnered NSIC All-Academic Team accolades and was named to the NFF Hampshire Honor Society.

2020: No season due to COVID-19...Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team.

2019: Played and started in all 15 games for the Mavericks on the offensive line…As a member of the offensive line, he helped the Mavericks set MSU single season records in points scored (712), rushing yards (4,246), rushing touchdowns (59) and total offense (7,766)….As a unit, the Maverick offensive line allowed just 19 sacks in 15 games…Named to the All-NSIC First Team.

2018: Played in all 14 games, while making 13 starts on the offensive line…As a member of the offensive line, Gossen helped the Mavericks rush for 3,345 yards and 37 touchdowns this past season, both of which are the fifth most in a season in team history…As a unit, the Maverick offensive line allowed just 12 sacks in 14 games.

2017: Redshirted.

High School: An offensive lineman from De Pere, Wis., Gossen was a four-year starter for the De Pere High School football team on the offensive line…Also played on the defensive line…Helped his team to a 10-1 record during his junior season as his team finished first in the Fox River Conference.

Personal: Jared is the son of Lee and Brenda Gossen…Born September 10, 1998…Intends to major in construction management.
