2017-18 (Freshman): Redshirted.

High School: A forward from Waseca, Minn., Guse helped Waseca High School to a pair of section 2AAA championship games, as he garnered two all-conference honorable mentions...At the section finals in 2016, Guse helped his squad defeat Marshall in a quadruple overtime game to advance to the state tournament...In the section finals against Marshall this past season, Guse recorded a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds...Guse also helped his team to a Big South Conference championship in 2017 and was named the team's MVP...He also competed as a member of the Waseca cross country and track and field teams, which included a cross country conference championship in 2014 and a trip to the state...Along with his athletic accolades, Guse also excelled in the classroom and graduated with honors.
