Biography

2022: Appeared and started in all of Minnesota States 13 games… Was named to the D2CCA All-Super Region First Team and the All-NSIC First Team.

2021: Appeared in eight games, including five starts on the offensive line…Helped the team rush for 2,264 yards and 28 touchdowns.

2020: No season due to COVID-19.

2019: Played in 14 games on the offensive line for the Mavericks…As a member of the offensive line, he helped the Mavericks set MSU single season records in points scored (712), rushing yards (4,246), rushing touchdowns (59) and total offense (7,766)….As a unit, the Maverick offensive line allowed just 19 sacks in 15 games.

2018: Played in 10 games on the offensive line…As a member of the offensive line, Roussel helped the Mavericks rush for 3,345 yards and 37 touchdowns this past season, both of which are the fifth most in a season in team history…As a unit, the Maverick offensive line allowed just 12 sacks in 14 games.

2017: Redshirted.

High School: An offensive lineman out of Durango, Iowa, Roussel played three seasons on the offensive and defensive lines at Hempstead High School…Also competed on the track and field team as a thrower and the wrestling team…Claimed first team all-district and all-area honors as a junior and a senior…Also claimed an All-State Third Team honor during his senior season where he served as the team captain…Named to the honor roll all four seasons.

Personal: Jack is the son of Jay and JoAnn Roussel… Born August 11, 1999…Intends to major in exercise science.
