2013: Started all 12 games for the Mavericks…Finished third on the team in tackles with 59, including 29 unassisted tackles…Posted 4.5 tackles for a loss of 13 yards…Notched 1.5 sacks and recovered one fumble that he returned 56 yards against the University of Mary…Named NSIC South Division All-Conference First Team Defense…Posted a season-high nine tackles against both Northern State and St. Cloud State…Tallied at least four tackles in seven games…He defended five passes and blocked a kick.

2012: Started 14 games and finished the year with 58 tackles, including 8.5 for a loss...His 58 tackles was the third-highest tally on the team...Also had five pass break-ups, two sacks and an interception...Recorded three or more tackles in the first ten games of the season, including a season-high  nine tackles at Minot State (8/30)...Also tallied a season-high 4.5 tackles for a loss against Minot State...In MSU's win over Wayne State (10/27) he returned an interception 60-yards for a touchdown...Was an Honorable Mention All-NSIC South Division selection.

2011:  Played in 12 games and started 11...Had ten tackles in MSU's loss to Minnesota Duluth (11/12)...Had a season-high 11 tackles in MSU's win over Augustana (10/27) and has five or more tackles in eight games...Had 1.5 tackles for a loss and half a sack...Owner of two pass break-ups...Finished fourth on the team in tackles with 65

Pre-MSU: Spent two seasons at North Dakota State, including a redshirt year in 2008 and a freshman season in 2009…Did not play football in 2010…In 2009 he recorded nine tackles, seven of which were solo…Had an interception and returned it 27 yards against Wagner.

High School: Was a first-team all-conference and all-city selection…Recorded ten interceptions as a senior and also caught 39 passes for 710 yards and ten touchdowns…Rushed 62 times for 392 yards and a score and also returned 16 kickoffs, averaging 34.1 yards per return…Defensively, recorded 66 tackles, 54 of which were solo.
