Biography

2014: Appeared in 14 games for MSU, while starting in 13 games… Helped the Mavericks rush for 3,625 yards and 39 touchdowns...The 3,625 rushing yards were the most in a season in program history and the 39 rushing touchdowns were the third most in a season at MSU…Played in 49 games for his career, including 30 starts.

2013: Started in 11 games for the Mavericks last season on the offensive line and has now played in 30 games in his career as a Maverick…As a member of the offensive line, he helped his team rush for 3,536 rushing yards, the second most rushing yards in a single season at Minnesota State…Helped the Mavericks pass for 2,262 yards and 20 touchdown passes.

2012: Hiatt – an Academic All-NSIC pick – played in all 14 games and has played in 19 during his career, earning five starts... For the season, he was a member of a Maverick offensive line that saw their backs rush 668 times for 3,300 yards (4.9 ypc; 235.7 ypg) and 38 touchdowns and protected their quarterbacks who have completed 166-of-291 passes for 2,370 yards and 19 touchdowns, averaging 169.3 yards per game...The 3,330 yards of rushing, 668 carries, and 38 rushing touchdowns are all the second-highest marks on the school's single-season charts, while the 2,370 yards of passing was the tenth-best tally in school history.

2011: Played in five games last year and earned his first career start at right guard against Concordia (9/24) and also earned start against Minnesota Duluth (11/12)...For the season he was employed by a Maverick offensive line which has seen nine running backs eclipse the 100-yard barrier...The Maverick offensive line saw the backfield rush for 2,292 yards and 25 touchdowns this year and throw for 2,278 yards and 20 touchdowns...MSU averaged 167.9 yards per game on the ground and 189.8 yards per game through the air.

2010: Redshirted.

High School: Played on the offensive and defensive line for the Patriots...Helped lead Millard South to a 13-0 record and a Class A State championship...Started for three years for the Patriots...Also a participated in track and basketball...Placed sixth in the Class A shot put competition last spring...Was named All-Nebraska Superstate, First-Team All-Metro, All-District, Class A All-State and the Metro Conference Lineman of the Year as a senior...Teammate of incoming freshman Max Hofmeister.

Personal: Son of Curt and Kelly Hiatt...Father Curt played at Peru State College...Born January 21, 1992...Majoring in business management.
