2024-25: Started in 32 of the Mavericks 33 games in 2024-25… Averaged career-highs in scoring (17.6 PPG), rebounding (4.1 RPG), assists (4 APG) and steals (2.1 SPG)… Shot 53.1% from the field, 31% from three and 76.9% from the free throw line, which were also career-bests for Bursch… 21 15+ point games, 13 20+ point games, one 30+ point game… Scored a career-high 37 points in her final game against Pittsburg State on 15-of-23 shooting from the field… Shot above 60% from the field in 13 games and shot above 70% in five games… Three games with five steals… Dished out nine assists in a 20-point performance against Southwest Minnesota State… Grabbed nine rebounds against Bemidji State… Scored 564 points in the eighth-best scoring season in program history… Ended her career third in all-time scoring (1,914 points), second in games played and field goal makes, fifth in field goal attempts, seventh in steals and points per game average and eighth in free throw makes and assists… Ranked in the top five in the NSIC in scoring, field goal percentage, assists, assist-to-turnover ratio and steals per game… Named to the NSIC All-Conference First Team for the second time… Earned a spot on the NSIC All-Academic Team. 


2023-24: Played and started in 36 games for the Mavericks…Averaged 15.5 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game, while shooting 48.0% from the field…Scored at least 20 points in 10 games, including a season-high 25 points vs. Minnesota Crookston…Was named the NSIC Player of the Week twice…Notched a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds vs. Bemidji State…Named to the All-NSIC First Team…Was named to the NSIC All-Tournament Team after averaging 18.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 5.6 assists a game while shooting 16-of-30 (.533) from the field…Garnered NSIC All-Academic Team and CSC Academic All-District Team honors…Named to the NCAA Central Region All-Tournament Team after posting 20.3 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game…Became the 25th member of the Minnesota State 1,000 Point Club when she recorded 20 points against Bemidji State.

2022-23: Played and started in all of Minnesota States 31 games… Averaged 15 points and 2.5 rebounds per game while shooting 48.7% from the field and a 67% performance from the line… Was second on the team in field goals made with 183 and tied for second on the team in free throws made with 73… Achieved a season-high of 12 field goals made vs. Sioux Falls… Named to the CSC Academic All-District Team, All NSIC Second Team, and the NSIC All-Academic Team.

2021-22: Named NSIC Freshman of the Year, first Maverick to ever earn that recognition... Second on team in scoring with 326 averaging 11.6 per game... fourth on team in rebounds with 96 averaging 3.4 per game... Third on the team in assists with 56 averaging 2.1... Second and third in field goals made and in 3pt made with 125 and 33, respectively.

High School: Destinee helped lead Eden Prairie High School to an 18-12 record as a junior and a berth in the state tournament. As a sophomore, she averaged 10.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game in her first season with Eden Prairie after transferring from Chaska High School...As a senior she scored her 1,000th point...Finished her time at Eden Prairie as its all-time career leader in assists (484) and steals (265).

Personal: Destinee is the daughter of AJ and Ashleigh Bursch.
