2022: Played in all of Minnesota States 13 games…. Led the team in field goals with 10… Also had 41 points after touchdown… Saw longest field goal of 44 yards vs. Minnesota Duluth… Was named NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week.

2021: Appeared in 10 games for the Mavericks…Went 4-of-5 in field goal attempts, including a season-long 45 yard field goal against Upper Iowa…Went 3-of-4 in field goal attempts against Winona State…Averaged 57.4 yards per kickoff and posted 16 touchbacks.

2020: No season due to COVID-19.

High School: A kicker from Manhattan, Ill., Chowaniec played three seasons as a kicker and punter at Lincoln-Way West High School...As a senior he claimed all-conference second team honors as he connected on 6-of-10 field goal attempts...A total of 72% of his kickoffs went for touchbacks and he averaged 37 yards per punt...Kicked a season-long 39-yard field goal as a senior.

Personal: Damian is the son of Beata and Maciej Chowaniec...Born Sept. 12, 2001...Intends to major in nuclear medicine technology.
