Biography

2020: No season due to COVID-19...Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team...Named to the NFF Hampshire Honor Society.

2019: Played and started in all 15 games for the Mavericks…Finished third on the team in tackles with 65…Tied for the team lead in interceptions with five and finished second on the team I passes defended with nine…Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team and the All-NSIC Second Team…Tallied at least six tackles in six games, including a season-high eight tackles against Texas A&M-Commerce in the third round of the NCAA Tournament…Returned an interception 41 yards for a touchdown against Upper Iowa…Recorded an interception in MSU’s first three games of the season…Posted seven tackles against West Florida in the NCAA Championship game.

2018: Played and started in all 14 games…Finished fifth on the team in tackles with 59…Defended six passes and led the team with three interceptions…Also tallied 3.5 tackles for a loss…Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team and the All-NSIC Second Team…Tallied a season-high 10 tackles against Southwest Minnesota State…Recorded two interceptions at Wayne State…Posted six tackles against Ferris State in the semifinals of the NCAA Tournament.

2017: Played in all 14 games for the Mavericks…Notched 10 tackles, including 1.5 for a loss against Upper Iowa.

High School: A native of Sioux Falls, S.D., Schroedermeier earned three letters for the Roosevelt High School football team as a defensive back…Started during his junior and senior seasons…Helped his team to a pair of 11AAA state runner ups as a sophomore and a junior…Tallied 38 tackles and two fumble recoveries as a junior…Broke up a total of 16 passes during his junior and senior seasons…Notched 50 tackles and two interceptions as a senior , en route to receiving all-conference and all-city honors…Received academic all-state honor during his senior season.
