Connor Walsh

Recruiting Area (Iowa and Nebraska)

Connor Walsh joined the Minnesota State coaching staff in the summer of 2023 as the offensive tackles and tight ends coach.

Walsh, who worked with the offensive tackles, helped oversee an offensive line that helped the Mavericks rush for 2,548 yards and 28 touchdowns. Five members of the Maverick offensive line would garner All-NSIC honors, including Marshall Foerner who claimed All-NSIC First Team honors and Deontae Veney who received All-NSIC Second Team accolades. Foerner would go on to claim Don Hansen All-Super Region Four Second Team honors and was also named to the D2Football.com Elite 100 list.

Prior to joining the Mavericks, Walsh served as the cornerbacks coach at Muhlenberg College where he was responsible for all corners individual drills and recruiting visits. He would also assist the defensive coordinator in the defensive back room.

From 2022-23, Walsh was a member of the North Park University coaching staff. In the fall of 2022 he worked with the linebackers and tight ends where he was responsible for drills and scouting. He coached an All-CCIW Second Team honoree at linebacker during the 2022 season. He worked as an assistant offensive line coach in the 2023 spring semester before joining Muhlenberg College.

Walsh was a five-year letterwinner (2017-21) with the Washington and Jefferson College football team. He started four seasons at center and was a two-year captain. He would receive All-PAC Honors for his efforts during the 2021 spring season and the 2021 fall season.

Walsh earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Washington and Jefferson College in 2021.
