Colby Hartig joined the Maverick coaching staff in the spring of 2025 as the Tight Ends Coach and is responsible for recruiting Northern Illinois.
Prior to joining the Maverick Coaching Staff, Hartig played 5 seasons at Minnesota State on the offensive line appearing in 41 games and starting in 19 games. As a senior in 2025 he helped the Mavericks rush for 2,592 yards and 32 touchdowns and helped the team get to the Final Four and win a Regional Championship.
A native of Deforest, Wis., Hartig graduated from Minnesota State in the Fall of 2025 with a bachelors in Business Management. Hartig is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Sports Management at Minnesota State.
