Biography

2015: Appeared in all 12 games for Minnesota State, including 10 starts…Started in MSU’s final eight games of the season…Received an All-NSIC Honorable Mention…Finished third on the team with 523 receiving yards, to go with five touchdown catches…Recorded a career-high 165 receiving yards against Sioux Falls…Caught two touchdown passes against Wayne State…Notched at least 76 receiving yards in MSU’s final four games of the season.

2014: Saw the field in 14 games…Caught two passes for 19 yards.

2013: Appeared in five games for the Mavericks.

2012: Redshirted.

High School: Esser was a two-year starter and letterwinner at DC Everest, leading the Evergreens to a 7-4 record this past season, including a third-place finish in the Valley Football Association (North)...Was a unanimous first team all-conference selection as wide receiver and was named the league's wide receiver of the year...Was also first team all-region and First Team All-State by both the WFCA and the AP...Caught 63 passes for 1,306 yards and 18 touchdowns and finished the year with 1,800 all purpose yards...Also plays basketball and runs track.
