2019: Played in five games on the offensive line…As a member of the offensive line, he helped the Mavericks set MSU single season records in points scored (712), rushing yards (4,246), rushing touchdowns (59) and total offense (7,766)….As a unit, the Maverick offensive line allowed just 19 sacks in 15 games.

2018: Played in eight games on the offensive line…As a member of the offensive line, Palme helped the Mavericks rush for 3,345 yards and 37 touchdowns this past season, both of which are the fifth most in a season in team history…As a unit, the Maverick offensive line allowed just 12 sacks in 14 games.

2017: Saw no action.

2016: Redshirted.

High School: A three-year starter for the Dowling Catholic football team in West Des Moines, Iowa…Helped his team to a pair of state championships during his junior and senior seasons…Started in all 13 games his senior season, as his squad went 13-0.

Personal: Alex is the son of Tom and Janet Palme…Born April 20, 1998…Intends to major in law enforcement…Brother Michael currently plays at Minnesota State.
