High School: A lineman from Elkhorn, Neb., Aidan Betz competed on both the offensive and defensive lines as a member of the Elkhorn High School football team…Was a four-year starter…Earned All-State honors as a sophomore after helping his team win a state championship…Recorded 30 tackles on defense during his sophomore season while allowing no sacks on the offensive line…Earned All-State first team honors during his junior season as his team reached the semifinals at the state tournament…Posted 31 tackles, 14 TFL and 5.5 sacks as a junior, while again allowing no sacks on the offensive line…Claimed third All-State honors during his senior season with no sacks given up, to go along with 43 tackles and seven sacks on defense…Also competed in the shot put and discus events as a member of the track and field team.
