Biography

2012: Hit .351 while leading Mavericks in homers (9) and runs batted in (61)...61 RBI established school single-season record...Saw action in all 63 games (school single-season record)...Member of Rawlings/ABCA Second Team All-Central Region team, was also member of the Rawlings/ABCA First Team Central Region Gold Glove team and was named NSIC Second Team All-Conference and named to the NSIC All-Tournament Team and the NCAA DII Central Region All-Tournament team...Named NSIC Offensive Player of the Week at end of February (hit .455 (5/11) in four games as MSU posted a 3-1 mark. Went three-for-three with a double, a triple, three runs and three runs batted in as MSU downed Colorado Christian 9-0 Feb. 24 and was two-for-three with two RBI and a home run in MSU's 4-0 win over Bemidji State Feb. 22)...Played in 174 career games over the course of MSU career, which ranks 11th all-time at Minnesota State...Hit .343 with 35 doubles (t-7th all-time), eight triples (t-6th all-time), 24 home runs (4th all-time) and 147 RBI (3rd all-time).

2011:  Played in 51 games, starting 50...Owned a .369 batting average, 62 hits, which tied for first on the team, two triples and 30 walks, which both ranked second on the team...Owned team-bests in runs (49), home runs (7), total bases (99) and slugging percentage (.589)...In 168 at bats, racked up 12 doubles, 38 RBI, four sacrifice flies and one stolen base...Had 19 multiple hit games, a team-best, and two games with four RBI (3/10 & 5/1).

2010: Tabbed Daktronics Central All-Region Second Team… Led team in average (.400), slugging percentage (.638) and tied for team lead in on-base percentage (.451)… Appeared in 42 games and started 34… Ranked third on team with eight home runs and 46 RBI…Had a 21-game hitting streak during the course of the season.  

2009: Redshirted.   

2008: Competed in 18 games, starting in 11...Posted a batting average of .111 with 2 RBI and 5 runs scored.   

High School: Three-year letterwinner was named all-conference and selected for the Lions All-Star game as a high school senior...Hit .427 as a senior and was named Eagan’s baseball MVP and Male Athlete of the Year in 2007...Also a three-year varsity member of the Wildcat hockey team.
