2015: Johnson started all 52 games this season... Hit .399 and slugged .591...Led the team in hits (79), doubles (23) and total bases (117)...Had the most put outs on the team (316)...Hit safely in 44 of 52 games and had 23 multi-hit games...Went 3-3 with two doubles, two RBI and one run against Saint Joseph’s College...Awarded First Team All-NSIC honors...Was named
Daktronics, NCBWA and ABCA/Rawlings Second Team All-Region as well as being named to the NCAA Central Region All-
Tournament Team.

2014: Johnson led the squad with a .365 batting average in 59 starts this season...Tallied five home runs, three triples, 20 doubles, 48 runs and 55 RBI with a .550 slugging percentage...Five-of-six on stolen base attempts with a .994 fielding percentage...Named NSIC Player of the Week on Feb. 11...Recorded four hits with a season-high six RBI and four runs at Northern State on April 19...Tabbed a 2014 NCBWA Preseason First Team All-American...Earned a spot on the NSIC Gold Glove Team and was First Team All-NSIC, both for the second straight season...Also Daktronics and NCBWA First Team All-Region, while being named Rawlings/ABCA Second Team All-Region with a place on the Central Region Gold Glove Team...A NCAA DII Baseball Championships All-Tournament Team pick...Named Daktronics First Team and NCBWA Third Team All-America.

2013: Made 47 starts in 49 appearances behind the plate for MSU...Led the team with a .359 batting average and .576 slugging percentage...Generated three homeruns, three triples, 22 doubles, 36 runs and 39 RBI in 170 at-bats...Added a .405 on-base percentage and went two-for-two in stolen base attempts...Finished fourth in the nation in doubles and second in doubles on MSU single-season list...Selected NCBWA Honorable Mention All-America, Daktronics Honorable Mention All-America, Daktronics First Team All-Region, Rawlings/ABCA First Team All-Region and NSIC First Team All-Conference...Also named to NSIC All-Conference Gold Glove Team, Rawlings/ABCA All-Region Gold Glove Team, NCAA Central Region All-Tournament Team MVP and NCAA DII Baseball Championship All-Tournament Team...Went three-for-four and drove in two game-winning RBI in MSU's 6-5 win over St. Edward's at NCAA DII Baseball Championship...Had a season-best four hits in four at-bats with a double, two runs and three RBI on April 6 against Augustana.

2012:  Started 55 games while playing in 58...Ranked fourth on the team with .343 batting average...2012 NSIC Gold Glove and Rawlings/ABCA First Team Central Regioin Gold Glove Team...Connected on game-winning two-run home run to propel Mavericks to a 7-5 win against third-seeded Colorado Mesa at 2012 NCAA Division II Central Region Tournament hosted by the Mavericks...Ranked fourth on the team with 68 hits...Went 3X3 with four RBI in 11-4 win over St. Joseph's March 4.

2011:  Redshirted.

High School: Four-year letterwinner at Jefferson High School, the first player in school history to do so… Named Jefferson's Rookie of the Year as a freshman while starting at catcher… Led team to a second place finish in the state 3A tournament as a sophomore… Three-year captain led team in average during senior campaign… Two-year letterwinner in football… Set school record for passing yards in a game (427).  

Personal: Born May 25, 1992…Son of Randy and Roseanna Johnson...Randy was a pitcher for the Mavericks from 1980-83.
