Biography

2013: Started 11 of the 20 games he played in and was limited by a back injury all season long...Hit .158 with a triple, two doubles and four runs scored...Named a 2013 NSIC Preseason Player to Watch.

2012: Led Mavericks with .365 batting average and .612 slugging percentage in helping MSU capture NSIC regular season title, NSIC tournament title, NCAA DII Regional title and third-place finish at NCAA DII national tournament...Home run vs. Delta State at NCAA DII Championship gave Mavericks 1-0 win...Tied for team lead with six triples, ranked second on the team with seven home runs and 35 RBI tied for second...Named MVP of 2012 NSIC Tournament (.480 batting average going 12-for-25 in six GP, eight runs scored, two home runs and six RBI while slugging .800 with a .536 on-base percentage)...At one point during the course of the season, had 11-game hitting streak...Went 4X4 in 8-0 home NSIC win over Bemidji State April 23.

2011:  Played in 21 games, with 10 starts...Recorded a .235 batting average with eight hits, a triple, six RBI and six runs scored...Triple came in a nonconference tilt with Northwoods on March 10.

2010: Voted MSU’s Top Freshman by teammates… Appeared in 44 games, starting 35… Hit .316 with 25 RBI… Recorded a .963 fielding percentage. 

High School: Helped lead high school team to 37-5 overal record and 22-0 conference record as center fielder in 2009...Hit .517 with seven home runs, 20 doubles, two triples and 57 RBI senior season...Posted a 3-0 pitching record with 0.86 ERA senior season...Had four home runs and .400 average junior year in 2008 and had eight home runs sophomore season in 2007.
