Biography

2012:  Played in 63 games in tying for school record for games played in a season...HIt .307 with five homers and 37 RBI as a senior captain...Second Team All-NSIC selection and named 2012 NSIC All-Tournament Team...Set school record for career doubles (53) and completed career ranking highly on several team all-time lists including games played (3rd, 200), at bats (4th, 650), hits (5th, 200), homers (5th, 23) and RBI (2nd, 148).

2011:  Played in and started 50 games for the Mavericks...Led the team in doubles (18), RBI (56) and sacrifice flies (7)...Owner of a .320 batting average, with 55 hits, including one triple, six home runs and has walked 14 times...Had a 12-game hitting streak that began 3/9 and ended 4/2 against SCSU, which was the second longest by any Maverick in 2011...Hit a season-high seven RBI on April 6, one of his team-best 16 multiple RBI games...Named to 2011 NSIC All-Conference First-Team, 2011 NSIC Gold Glove Team, 2011 Daktronics Central All-Region First Team, 2011 NCBWA All-Region First Team, 2011 Rawlings/ABCA Central All-Region Second Team and 2011 Rawlings/ ABCA Central Region Gold Glove Second Team...Was also named was named honorable mention All- America by the NCBWA and Daktronics.

2010: Posted a .309 average… Second on team with nine home runs… Appeared in 54 games while starting 51… Batted in 39 runs and scored 34… 2009: Started 19 games and appeared in 33...Hit .280 and tied for team lead in doubles (6) and home runs (3) among freshmen...Finished with 19 RBI and a .926 fielding percentage.

High School: Three-year letterwinner in basketball, football, and baseball for Burlington High School...Hit .492 senior year and was named All-Southeastern Conference and Honorable Mention All-State.
